Standards 

 NOW REOPENING THE STUDIO
CLASSES START MONDAY JUNE 15th, 2020

After several weeks of carefully evaluating the COVID numbers in Lancaster, we feel comfortable to gradually reopen our studio doors. Our intention is to reopen with commitment to the highest standards of health and safety for our teams and students. 

To keep our community safe, all students need a Reservation before coming to class – walk-ins aren’t allowed at this time. Everyone can book up to 7 days out online or by phone.

 

PRACTICE DISTANCE

Reserve your class in advance to limit studio and class capacity
No walk-ins at this time
Limit your time in the studio to 15 min before and after class
Doors will be locked outside of that time
Use the mat markers to place your mat in class and give your fellow yogis space

PRACTICE CLEAN

We will stringently sanitize all studio surfaces with hospital grade EPA approved disinfectants
Wash your hands, utilize provided disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer
Face masks will be required for students and team members before and after your class and around the shop
We will require daily self health checks for all team members

PRACTICE CONTACT FREE

Bring your own mat and props, 
Limited used-mats available for purchase $5 
Water will be available but we recommend bringing your own
Check yourself in & Pay using our booking software
We will only use verbal assists in class

CHECK IN WITH YOURSELF

If you aren’t feeling well, have a cough, fever or symptoms of COVID-19, please don’t attend class for your wellbeing and that of your teachers and fellow yogis
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has, we ask that you not come to the studio for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative

FAQ

Do i need a reservation

Yes, you’ll need to reserve your spot from the Schedule before coming to class. No walk-ins are allowed at this time. An email will be sent to you with your confirmation + a waiver to save you time.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, if this is your first yoga class at Lost in Float a waiver must be complete before practicing. Although you can complete a waiver in the studio, we recommend using the link attached in your confirmation email for your convenience. 

What Is Lost in Float Yoga?

why do you require reservations?

Reservations help us control studio and class capacity required by our Safe Studio Standards for the health and safety of our teams and students.

Is there a WAIT-LIST?

Yes, when a class is full, we can hold 5 spots on the wait-list. If you are moved from the wait-list into class, you will receive an email confirming your reservation at least 2 hours before class starts. Make sure you’re opted in to receive email updates for your reservation.

If you have not received an email confirming a change in status from wait-list to having a reservation, you may not attend the class. 

 When will I be charged for my reservation?

You will reserve and pay for your class online. If you’re not already on our All Access Membership, payments can be processed online <<here>> or over the phone @531.289.7739.

When should I make a reservation?

You can book up to at least 7 days out on the Schedule. Students with our All Access Membership get priority booking. You can make a reservation up to 30 minutes before class starts.

Is LIF Yoga A Cardio Workout?

Yoga isn’t considered aerobic exercise, but the more athletic varieties, like power yoga, will make you sweat. Even though yoga is not aerobic, some research finds it can be just as good as aerobic exercise for improving health.

What Should I Bring?

  • Comfortable yoga attire 
  • Your own mat + any additional aids (blocks, bands, straps) you would like to use
  • Water bottle (optional)
  • Face towel and/or mat towel- (optional) 
  • An open mind

How do I make a class reservation?

To reserve a class, visit the Schedule on our Helm software or call us @531.289.7739. You’ll need to sign into your account. If this is your first time signing in, create your Account using the same email address you used on your first studio visit. Make sure you’re opted in to receive email updates for your reservation. 

What is your cancellation policy?

To open up space for your fellow yogis, we require that you cancel 2 hours or more before class starts, no exceptions. A $10 late cancel / no show fee will be charged to your credit card on file. 

Reservations made within 2 hours of the scheduled start of class cannot be cancelled without incurring a late cancel/no show fee. 

How do i cancel my reservation?

Log in to your profile. Select the “ME” tab then choose “UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS”. Select “CHANGE”. There you will be able to edit or cancel your appointment. 

Can I use the sauna after Yoga?

Sauna is FREE for all Yoga Members. Sauna is available and open during regular shop hours. If your yoga class falls within this time-frame, you are also able to reserve a spot online for a sauna session.

What if Lost in Float cancels class?

If a class is cancelled, you will receive an email notification and you will not be charged. Make sure you’re opted in to receive email updates for your reservation.

What if the class time or teacher changes?

If a class time or teacher changes, you will receive an email from us for any classes you have reserved that may have been updated or canceled. To receive updates, make sure you area opted in to our emails. You can also check the schedule for class updates. 

What Should I Wear?

T-shirts, tank tops, sports bras, yoga pants, capris, tights and shorts are all great choices. (If you do wear shorts, you may want to choose some that are knee length or longer, to help avoid “slippage” in poses where your leg is supporting your arm.)

How Long Are LIF Yoga Classes?

A typical yoga class at LIF will last one hour to 1 1/2 hours, but class times can vary depending on multiple factors such as class level, type of class, preferences of the teacher, needs of the students and sought-after objectives.
