The incredible Mike Catron is coming to Lost in Float July 23rd and 30th to teach an extremely empowering women’s self-defense training series. 

WHEN:  July 23rd and 30th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm 

July 23 – Basic Women’s Self Defense Training Class – Introduction & Practice
July 30 – Basic Women’s Self Defense Training Class – Introduction, Practice, & Improvement
Although you can come to one or both classes in the series you will gain the most benefit from additional practice and enhanced mastery promoted by attending both sessions.

Single Session:

2 Session Series:

This series focuses on turning fear into Power, leaving you feeling extremely prepared! The course is informed by research and designed to make effective, powerful self-defense mind-sets and physical techniques available to non-martial artists and martial artists alike. Novices and Beginners will begin to learn how to avoid, deter, and disrupt attackers. More advanced students will have opportunities to test and improve their skills.

Self Defense Course will cover:

Led by: 

Michael Catron is co-owner and head instructor of Catron’s Chung Do Kwan Taekwondo Academy LLC, where he has taught taekwondo, other martial arts, and self-defense for over 20 years. Michael has been training in various martial arts for over 30 years and is a certified instructor in the Universal Taekwondo Association and American Grandmasters’ Association. He is internationally ranked in Taekwondo and Kendo and has studied Aikido, Hapkido, Muay Thai, Shorinji Kenpo, Hayashiha and Gojuryu Karate, Judo, Jujitsu, and boxing. He and his sister Hilary, both holding 6th dan in Taekwondo, developed and have been teaching pragmatic self-defense courses for 15 years.
